Abstract

In this paper, the variability of the stem height, under the influence of weather conditions and the method of fertilization, was studied in two varieties of spring barley. The analyzed feature varied among the studied barley varieties. With the application of increased nitrogen doses, the highest plant height (90.49 cm) was determined when using nitrogen doses of N120. A different reaction of the tested varieties on the application of mineral fertilizers is the result of their varietal specificity.
